Paris Justice fines Scientology 20,000 Euro

Scientology France has been fined 20,000 Euro for using libelous criticism on a cult expert. Scientology boss Daniele Gounord has to pay damages to cult specialist Jacqueline Tavernier. This was the decision handed down by the Paris court attorneys on Friday. Scientology writings portrayed Tavernier and her Unadfi association as working to limit human rights in a way reminiscent of Nazis.
