Bavaria drafting test for citizenship.

Munich. March 21, 2006. http://www.merkur-online.de. Bavaria is preparing to enter the debate about citizenship tests at the Interior Ministers Conference in May. "We are working on the theme of whether people to whom we grant citizenship have their feet on solid ground with respect to our system of values," said Interior Ministry spokesman Michael Ziegler on Tueday in Munich.

"We are developing our concept, but there are no results yet - it is still too early." Since March 1 foreigners who want citizenship have been asked about their sympathies for extremist organizations. There are no numbers back from the tests yet, and so results are not available, said Ziegler.

It is not enough to have lived a long time in Germany, not to have been convicted of a crime and to not be drawing welfare. Neither is knowledge of the language alone the only qualification for integration. "Language is a provision, but not the only one."

On the new form, foreigners have to reveal existing or past membership in or support of terrorist groups like Al Qaida, along with organizations permitted in Germany like The Left Party ("Die Linke.PDS") or Scientology. According to Ziegler, there are 173 organizations that are extremist or influenced by extremists. "Running for election and having seats in Parliament is not automatically the same thing as pursuing democratic goals," said Ziegler with the Left Party in view.

Radical Rightwingers Roam Parallel Worlds by Susann Witt-Stahl

An increasing number of people going into New Age, esoteric and dangerous ideologies have led to unforeseeen erosion of an informed worldview. The government in Hamburg is trying to counteract this erosion primarily in young people.

A 12-year-old boy who has found Gregor A. Gregorius' black sex magic much more exciting than Harry Potter and reoriented his life according to satanic rules exemplifies the tricky cases that fill the daily routine of Ursula Caberta, the chief "ghost-chaser" of Hamburg's youth agency in the "Area of new religious and ideological communities and psychogroups." "Our work does not lie in the investigation, but in the prevention of crime," explains the 55-year-old civil servant. We follow a plan that is meant to recognize in advance ideologies that are trying to resurrect themselves." ...

Why has there been so much less news about Scientology from Germany?

For one thing, some of the anti-Scientologists have also turned out to be anti-American. As a result, the anti-Scientology forum has turned into an anti-American forum. The German-speaking critics like to amuse themselves sometimes by having a Scientologist whup them into a lather against Americans, and the Scientologist is more than happy to oblige. Sorry about that, folks.

The anti-American lambasts posted by many members like Tilman speaks volumes about the philosophy and background of this extremist movement.

The USA is far from being perfect, but in an imperfect world the USA has done more for freedom and human rights on this planet than any other nation.

And still today the USA is a bastion of individual rights and the strongest advocate for human rights. From all parts of the world people flee suppression and oppression for the USA and there they are integrated.

This stand for freedom is the reason why the USA is being attacked by totalitarian movements of Islamists, the critic cult and the communists. (Sometimes you can't even tell them apart like in the cases of Caberta and Gandow.)

Admittedly the American President and other functionaries do not always act appropriately and there are plenty of wrong decisions made, but these things are part of the big picture.

And that situation is clear. Without the USA freedom and human rights would be in a bad way on this planet.

I'm not at all surprised to see the raging anti-American attacks from the critic cult here. It goes to show where these people have their spiritual homeland.
