The Scientology organization intends to bring charges against France before the UN Human Rights Commission

ZDF.MSNBCThe trial which opened in Marseille in Monday against seven sect members was a violation of the European Human Rights Convention and other international human rights treaties, stated Scientology President Heber C. Jentzsch in Los Angeles. The trial resulted from a charge by a former Scientology member from Marseille. An initial process was suspended in 1995. The current process was preceded by a scandal concerning records which were destroyed through oversight.
