Title: Battlefield Earth turned me into an scientolgy critic!

That's right folks, you heard me. Four weeks ago, after seeing the trailer
for Battlefield Earth, I was transformed. The movie was a week from coming
out, and I was already sick of it. My first thought was this: "John Travolta
is an idiot." Up until then I knew next to nothing about Scientology, and
honestly had no idea what it was all about. I didn't even know Johnny (The
Idiot) Travolta was a Scientologist! It wasn't until he (idiot) appeared on
"Entertainment Tonight" and started talking about Scientology that I decided
to do some research. I typed in John Travolta (no idiot this time),
Battlefield Earth and Scientology on a search engine, and up popped
"Operation Clambake" and "The Official Scientology Homepage." "Hmm..." I
thought: "Clambake? What's that all about?" and I clicked. I'm glad I did
too!

I couldn't believe what I was reading. "This has to be a joke!" I thought to
myself. So I did the only thing a logical objective person could do. I went
to the Scientology homepage and searched it. I searched for suspicious
cult-like tendencies to confirm what I had been reading.

Take this for example:
http://www.whatisscientology.org/Html/Part12/Chp36/pg0648-e.html
It is about why you shouldn't accociate with "Suppressive persons" and also
states in so many words that anyone who is against scientology is one of
these persons. And this is just the stuff they openly tell people! This is
John Travolta's religion? What an idiot!

And then there is the freaking volcano on the cover of "Dianetics".
http://www.bridgepub.com/
It's the Xenu volcano people! I started laughing when I put that together.
They never tell you on the site what the volcano is for! I challenge any
scientologist on this board to give me an alternate explanation for the
volcano. It is soooo the Xenu volcano! I also found out that John was an
"OT". Which means he believed in Xenu. Which means he's an idiot.

Following that line of reasoning, and after extensive research into both
Scientological and Critical sites, I concluded that Scientology was indeed a
UFO cult. Following this line of reasoning I concluded that John Travolta
was indeed an idiot.

There was only one thing left. I had to see Battlefield Earth. I knew it was
going to be BAAAADDD, but I had to see it. Man oh man, was it bad.
Everything the reviews tell you is true. It is the worst movie I have ever
seen. If you take the combined badness of "Waterworld", "The Postman", "Plan
Nine from outer space", and "Starwars: EP 1" you still wouldn't have enough
crapability to compare with this utter piece of garbage. John Travolta is an
idiot.

And thusly, I begin my crusade. To inform people that scientology is a UFO
cult, but more importantly that JOHN TRAVOLTA IS AN IDIOT!
