Yesterday I responded to a Beliefnet question (
http://www.beliefnet.com/boards/message_list.asp?boardID=19945&discussionID=510020 )
concerning the political leanings of Scientology. My response was deleted
and drew the following complaint from the Beliefnet moderator:

"Dear Ewsnead,

Your description of Scientology in this post from "Politics" as "an
exemplary instance of fascism" is a clear violation of the Rules of Conduct.
Please review the ROC regarding hate speech for more information on this.

And here is my posting:

"Scientology is an exemplary instance of fascism. It is fascist in the
broader cultural sense of the term rather than the explicitly political. In
this context, fascism is a tribal ideology that brooks no intrusion or
contamination from non-tribal influence. Purity or sameness of thought,
religious affiliation, political allegiance or ethnic origin determines who
is entitled to sit around the tribal campfire at night and who is relegated
to the outer darkness. Fascism has a fondness for uniforms, marching in lock
(or goose) step, mass rallies (reducing throngs of people into a generalized
"one-ness" or "same-ness")and persecuting any hint of subversion to the
existing, uniform, cultural (or political) order. Fascism abides only "the
Order of the Same"; "Difference" is to be banished or destroyed. Fascism
regards "Difference" as a contaminant, in the same fashion as Scientology
views engrams and body thetans. Frequently metaphors of disease and hygiene
are invoked to justify the exclusion or destruction of 'difference's."

I, arnie lerma, gave up trying to inform or answer questions on the beliefnet board myself, after ever post of mine would be censored, beliefnet is acting as a frontgroup for Scientology, aiding and abetting the continuation of the scientology fraud.

From Blacks Law Dictionary:

Fraud: An intentional perversion of the truth for the purpose of inducing another in reliance upon it to part with some valuable thing or to surrender a legal right; a false representation of a matter of fact, whether by words ot conduct, by false or misleading allegations, or by concealment of that which should have been disclosed, which deceives and is intended to deceive another so that he shall act upon it to his legal inquiry; anything calculated to deceive, whether by a single act or combination, or by suppression of truth, or suggestion of what is false, whether it be by direct falsehood or innuendo, by speech or silence, word of mouth, or look or gesture; fraud comprises all acts, omissions, and concealments involving a branch of legal or equitable duty and resulting in damage to another.

In his book Complicity: Ethics and Law for a Collective Age, Christopher Kutz suggests that ‘marginally effective participants in a collective harm are accountable for the victim’s suffering, not because of the individual differences they make, but because their intentional participation in a collective endeavour directly links them to the consequences of that endeavour.’
