A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high virtues of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation."
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), U.S. president. Letter, 20 Sept. 1810

In 1964, on accepting the Republican presidential nomination in San Francisco, Barry M. Goldwater said
"extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice" and that "moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue."

"all this litigation has been about is [gaining] silence"

In a 1995 ruling against the church, U.S. District Court Judge Leonie
Brinkema wrote: "When the [Scientologists] first approached the court .
. . the dispute was presented as a straightforward one under copyright
and trade secret law. However, the court is now convinced that the
primary motivation of [the Scientologists] . . . is to stifle criticism
of Scientology in general and to harass its critics."

Your non tax deductible gift would help me not only survive but FIGHT BACK...

This is the sort of war Scientology is waging: from the connecting the dots department....

My single biggest client used to be a music store on Wilson Blvd, ALL-STAR Music
He used to send me $400 a week of repair work which I would do in a day perhaps two per week Then he got an offer to buy his store, he just said 'they were 'two guys from Florida.' and it was a great offer that he could not refuse, so he sold them his business However, what is very odd, is that the shop closed up for a long time, then reopened months later as an ice-cream shop? I found him sometime later managing an Egghead. As if he signed an agreement not to reenter the music business. and he *still* wont talk about it the deal...

Read the front page (Outlook section) article in the Washington Post,
Christmas Day 1994 :"Scientology Fiction, the Church's war against its critics ---- and truth"
by Richard Leiby

then read the front page (Style Section) article from Washington Post August 19th 1995
(that the Post was sued for, added to the cults lawsuit against me..).

"Church in Cyberspace --- Its Sacred Writ is on the Net -- Its Lawyers are on the Case"

then go to most recent summary, a letter I am sending out asking for help at - motivate!

Then maybe, the Front page story from the American University's -
The Washington School of Law, The Jurist for which
I will be eternally grateful - for the hope of having more lawyers who know the cult of $cientology's true nature...

Check out http://www.lermanet2.com/cos/fraud.htm - a graphic flow chart
describing the techniques used by Hubbard and Scientology to perpetrate the fraud called Scientology

Then read The Liberty Tree

Then look at pictures from the raid...

and perhaps the filing in RTC Vs Lerma that I had to fire two huge law firms - in order to file pro-se - so that certain facts which I had been asked to never talk about would be immortalized in this court record forever...

Message for all - In the United States - this psychopolitical terrorist organization has successfully abused the legal system to force ex-members into silence by extreme litigation, meant to ruin financially those they consider enemies - and used this tactic to create - despite the US Constitution - (which they consider a mere wog law) (wog is the term Hubbard uses for anyone who isn't a Scientologist) a condition of prior restraint on the US media - Time Magazine, for it's accurate and courageous article in 1991, spent 7.2 million US dollars defending a lawsuit - before it was dismissed ... The Washington Post ran two huge articles about my efforts - and was sued for the second one - even though Scientology paid their legal costs, the parties involved wanted to get justice and sue for malicious prosecution - but were unwilling to live through the horror that "The finest judicial system in the world" (as described by Senator Orrin Hatch) is turned into by the abusive and unethical techniques used by Scientology in pursuing litigation "to ruin them utterly"(L Ron Hubbard) - not to win or seek justice... - This situation is made far worse by the many unfilled judicial seats in the Federal Justice system - and the incredible workload Judges must undertake - Scientology takes full advantage of this incredible overload of the Federal judicial system - filing voluminous filings - [ there must be some substance there... ] and more paper that any one person, let alone a single Judge could possibly read, digest, - much less fully understand or even keep track of... Mr. Orrin Hatch, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee - you should have acted long ago to properly staff the Federal Judicial System... Too many are paying the price for your not doing your job..

Read the following quote from the U.S. Government prosecutor's memorandum to U.S. District Court Judge Charles R. Richey urging maximum sentences for Mary Sue Hubbard {wife of un-indicted co-conspirator and founder of Scientology L. Ron Hubbard} and 11 other Scientologists for conspiring to steal government documents, theft of government documents, and conspiring to obstruct justice.

"That these defendants were willing to frame their critics to the point of giving false testimony under oath against them and having them arrested and indicted speaks legion for their disdain for the rule of law. Indeed, they arrogantly placed themselves above the law, meting out their personal brand of punishment to those 'guilty' of opposing their selfish aims."

"The crime committed by these defendants is of a breadth and scope previously unheard of. No building, office, desk, or file was safe from their snooping and prying. No individual or organization was free from their despicable, conspiratorial minds. The tools of their trade were miniature transmitters, lock picks, secret codes, forged credentials, and any other device they found necessary to carry out their conspiratorial schemes. It is interesting to note that the founder of their organization, un-indicted co-conspirator L. Ron Hubbard, wrote in his dictionary entitled Modern Management Technology Defined....that 'truth is what is true for you.' Thus, with the founder's blessings they could wantonly commit perjury as long as it was in the interest of Scientology. The defendants rewarded criminal activities that ended in success and sternly rebuked those that failed. The standards of human conduct embodied in such practices represent no less than the absolute perversion of any known ethical value system."

"In view of this, it defies the imagination that these defendants have the unmitigated audacity to seek to defend their actions in the name of 'religion.' That these defendants now attempt to hide behind the sacred principles of freedom of religion, freedom of speech and the right to privacy -- which principles they repeatedly demonstrated a willingness to violate with impunity -- adds insult to the injuries which they have inflicted on every element of society."

As he prepared to sentence Mary Sue Hubbard, Judge Richey told her that "we have a precious system of government in the United States...For anyone to use the benefits of those laws or to seek under the guise of those laws to destroy the very foundation of the government is totally wrong and cannot be condoned by any responsible citizen."

Albert Einstein said the following:

"A human being is part of the whole, called by us 'universe,'
limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and
feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion
of his consciousness. This delusion is a prison, restricting us to our
personal desires and to affection for a few persons close to us.
Our task must be to free ourselves from our prison by widening
our circle of compassion to embrace all humanity and the whole of nature and its beauty."

Communist Party directive issued in 1943:
"Members and front organizations must continually embarrass,
discredit and degrade our critics.... When obstructionists
become too irritating, label them as fascist or Nazi or
anti-Semitic.... Constantly associate those who oppose us
with those names that already have a bad smell.
The association will, after enough repetition, become
"fact" in the public mind." -- 1956 Report of the House
